Century Casino Live Dealer Games

Our Live Table Gaming Locations

We run live dealer tables at three Alberta casinos, where professional croupiers host Blackjack, Roulette and Texas Hold’em in real time. In St. Albert, at 24 Boudreau Road, our team operates 10 live tables. Games typically start from 9:30am and run until 3am from Sunday to Thursday, with play extended to 4am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Our Century Casino Edmonton at 13103 Fort Road offers a broader live table mix, including a high-limit room for players who prefer larger stakes. Here, tables stay open around the clock from Friday morning through to late Sunday night, then operate until the early morning hours on weekdays.

Century Mile adds a different feel with the Replay Arena, where electronic table games stand next to traditional formats. Across all properties we operate under Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis oversight. Dealers use real chips and cards, place and clear wagers, and handle payouts directly at each table.

Getting to a Table

To join a live table, arrive during gaming hours with valid government-issued ID. Cash can be exchanged for chips at the cashier cage. From there, move to the table games area and look for a seat that is clearly open, or ask staff if you are unsure.

Before each round, dealers call out when betting is open and when it closes. After that, they deal the cards or spin the roulette wheel. Table minimums do not stay fixed - they change by property, time of day and game type, so it is important to check the limit sign on each table.

If you are new to live tables, it often helps to watch a few rounds first. For new guests, it can be helpful to observe a few rounds of play to familiarize yourself with table etiquette and game flow before participating. Our properties generally allow guests to stand back and observe active games. This way you can get a feel for the pace and etiquette before putting any chips on the felt.

Blackjack tables usually host up to seven players at once, all playing against the house. Classic 3:2 payouts apply on natural blackjacks, with side rules such as insurance available where posted. Minimum and maximum bets are clearly listed at each table and may move during busier shifts.

In Roulette, our dealers spin physical wheels and manage the layout. You can choose even-money wagers like red or black, or higher-return bets such as straight-up numbers that pay 35:1. Results are announced after every spin, and losing chips are cleared before the next betting window.

Poker tables are run as player-versus-player games. Our dealers handle shuffling, dealing community cards and counting pots, but they do not compete against you. Depending on demand, we offer both cash games with flexible buy-ins and scheduled tournaments with posted structures.

Electronic Options at Replay Arena

At Century Mile, the Replay Arena focuses on electronic table formats. Here you will find touchscreen versions of Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat designed for more self-paced sessions. Outcomes are based either on physical equipment or certified random number generators, with the same underlying odds as the live dealer games they mirror.

From each terminal you select a game, choose your chip size, and place bets directly on the screen. Shared displays or an individual monitor show the results for each round. When you are ready to leave, balances can be cashed out at kiosks or at the main cage.

The arena sits next to over 600 slots and VLTs, so you can move between electronic tables and reels according to your comfort level and preferred speed of play. While the system automates much of the dealing, the game rules and math are aligned with our traditional table offerings.

Live Gaming Across Alberta

Century Casino operates live dealer tables at three Alberta properties with professional croupiers handling real chips and cards. Our St. Albert location at 24 Boudreau Road features 10 live tables open from 9:30am until 3am Sunday through Thursday, extending to 4am on weekends. Century Casino Edmonton at 13103 Fort Road offers expanded hours with 24-hour gaming Friday through Sunday and includes a dedicated high-limit room for larger stakes.

Century Mile adds electronic table options through the Replay Arena alongside traditional live formats. All properties operate under Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis oversight with dealers managing wagers, payouts and game flow directly at each table. Table minimums vary by location, time and game type with clear limit signs posted at each station.

Property Details and Hours

Our Edmonton casino operates on the most extended live table schedule. From Friday through Sunday, table games run continuously, 24 hours a day. From Monday to Thursday, gaming usually starts at 9:30am and continues into the early morning, closing around 4am.

St. Albert follows a similar pattern but shuts down slightly earlier on weekdays, typically at 3am. Alongside gaming, the Edmonton location combines a boutique hotel, Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club, showroom performances and several dining venues, including private dining spaces for groups. Heated underground parking is available on-site in Edmonton.

In St. Albert, table play is paired with Vee Restaurant and Celly’s Sports Bar beside the main floor. Both Alberta properties highlighted here provide parking and a mix of food choices, from full-service restaurants to quicker grab-and-go options. Century Casino gift cards may be used for hotel stays, dining and merchandise where accepted, and may be purchased online ahead of longer visits.

Dealer Standards

Our live dealers complete formal training before they are assigned to active tables. Typically, these roles call for prior casino experience, skill on more than one game type, solid mental math under pressure, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Croupiers handle shuffling and dealing, spin the roulette wheels, announce results and manage both winning payouts and collection of losing bets. They keep track of posted limits, watch betting patterns, and call over supervisors if there is a dispute or irregular play. For additional oversight and compliance checks, surveillance teams monitor and record table activity.

Promotions Through Our App

The Century Casinos Canada mobile app keeps players informed about our Alberta properties. Through the app, you can see current promotions, push notifications about scheduled tournaments, and limited-time offers that may not be advertised on the floor.

It is also a convenient reference for operating hours, contact details and entertainment lineups. At Edmonton, we regularly host comedy and live music in Yuk Yuk’s and in the main showroom, so guests can plan a full evening that combines gaming with other events.

Some of our locations also provide off-track betting on horse racing from tracks across North America. These betting areas generally operate in the same building as live tables and electronic gaming, but follow their own posted schedules and house rules.

Regulatory Compliance and Responsible Gaming

AGLC regulates all of our Alberta casinos. This includes approval of payout structures, house edge ranges and how games must be conducted. Live dealer tables follow standard, published rules. For example, Blackjack tables comply with specific hit and stand requirements, and Roulette wheels are inspected to meet balance and technical criteria.

We support responsible play across all properties. This includes access to self-exclusion programs, tools to help set betting limits, and pathways to problem gambling services if someone needs assistance. Our teams are trained to recognize concerning patterns and to direct guests to appropriate support channels.

In Alberta, our casinos returned to full capacity after pandemic measures were lifted. Live table games reopened in Edmonton, Calgary and St. Albert between September 7, 2020 and September 11, 2020, according to the company announcement, with all four Alberta venues reaching complete reopening by June 10, 2021, according to the provincial timelines.

Planning Your Visit

For up-to-date information on table availability or current minimum bets, we recommend contacting each casino directly. Our St. Albert team can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at 780-460-8092. For Edmonton, please call 780-643-4000 for details on live games and hours.

Transportation options differ between locations, though most guests still arrive by personal vehicle. Each property offers ample parking space at no extra cost. Dress codes follow what you would expect at a licensed entertainment venue: neat, appropriate clothing and respectful conduct in shared areas. Security staff oversee the entrances and gaming floors to help maintain a safe and orderly atmosphere.

If you are planning your first visit, especially from outside the local area, it is sensible to call ahead. Temporary schedule adjustments, special events or changes in particular games can affect which tables are open. Table limits and the mix of games can also shift based on the day of the week or seasonal demand.

To prepare, it may help to note a few basics before you arrive:

  1. Which property you intend to visit.
  2. The live games you are most interested in.
  3. Your approximate budget and comfort level with table limits.
